Due to the uncertainty on global and regional travel precautions in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 17th Sub-Saharan African Network (SUSAN) Conference of the International Biometric Society was hosted virtually on 5th to 9th September 2021.

The conference was hosted by the Kenya Region of the International Biometric Society.
